  Resizing vertically a window in normal mode doesn't vertically
  maximize it correctly

Bug description:
  As the attached video shows:
   - When resizing a window it gets vertically maximized and immediately 
restored (visually only)
   - Once focused, it gets the proper size, but if restored again it doesn't 
revert its size to proper value
