Title:
pressing the volume up don and mute button freezes all keybaord and
mouse input
Status in “xserver-xorg-input-evdev” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I'm using a hp laptop with dedicated volume up, down and mute buttons.
As soon as I press one of these buttons shortly, the volume applet
starts flickering and moves toward the end of the scale automatically.
At this moment all mouse clicks and keyboard input is impossible. It
appears that the volume button keeps on sending signals, blocking out
any other input. The mouse can still be moved, but clicking doesn't
work anymore.
