  Touchpad is imprecise on a Macbook Pro 1.2

Status in “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  The touchpad of my macbook pro 1.2 under Ubuntu 11.10 is not as accurate as 
it is under OS X.
  In fact I have the feeling that the trackpad resolution is divided by 2 or 4 
under ubuntu. When I try to do a precise movement, the minimum distance I can 
achieve with the pointer is about 10 pixels, almost impossible to reach the 
close button because of that.
  It's often very frustrating to see te pointer "dodging" a button because of 
that.
