The bug is still present on today daily version. It happens randomly (on 10 cold boots, 5 times keyboard works at login and 5 times it doesn't). When the keyboard doesn't work, I need to click with mouse for example on sound indicator at the top panel and then keyboard starts working. My keyboard is Logitech K120 if that matters. This bug is very annoying and I think it should be fixed ASAP for LTS release. Most likely it only happens on some (Logitech?) keyboards.

It is still possible to select another user by mouse but not to enter something in the password field. Rebooting does not help. A workaround is to select and login to guest session and logout again, afterwards it is possible to enter a password again. The but occurs almost everytime after bootup.
