Title:
evolution configured with imap doesn't download all gmail emails in
their appropriate folder (label)
Status in The Evolution Mail & Calendaring Tool:
Expired
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I realize, after about 6 months of utilization of evolution (version 2.22.3.1
in Hardy Heron x86_64) configured with imap to download/syncronize my gmail
account that many emails (correctly labeled and archived via google webmail)
aren't downloaded in the appropriate evolution folder (that corresponds to
gmail label), but they are only in "All Mail" folder (they should be either in
the appropriate folder/label or in "all mail" folder). This is the first issue.
If I connect to gmail webmail I see the everything is ok.
Now, from evolution, if I try to move the emails that are only in "All Mail"
(but in gmail webmail they are correctly labeled) to the right folder (to
correct the issue) the email is moved to this folder (this is the second issue
as the email shouldn't be never moved from All Mail if not deleted or trashed).
This problem also remains if I resend/receive emails from evolution (I expexted
to see again the previously moved/labeled email in All Mail, but with no
success).
