The problem has not gone away for me. I'm on Precise (utill the next LTS ugrade) AMD64 with Invidia. Today the Software center pushed out an update to Chromium but I still get the aw snap on every page. I can't open settings, plugins or any other page for that matter. Chromium opens but I get Aw sap on every page.

I tried reinstalling, deleting ~/.config/chrome and ~/.cache/chromium and I still have the same issue. The debug log shows a [6:6:1201/143302:WARNING:plugin_module.cc(673)] PPP_InitializeModule returned failure -2, but I don't know what that means. I would appreciate any help.
