Sorry but 331.49 breaks hybrid graphics. We're working to track down the regression.
As for 334.x, that's a short lived driver branch, and we don't plan to ship the driver (as it would bring more package migration headaches when support for that branch ends). Would it help if we simply provided a package in xorg-edgers with apt pin preferences so that, if users add the xorg-edgers repository, they would only receive updates of binary drivers (fglrx, nvidia) without pulling in anything else (X, mesa, etc.)? This would involve just adding the xorg-edgers PPA, installing a package from that repository (e.g. the "binary-drivers-only" package), and refreshing the apt-cache. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-331 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1287753 Title: Please update to 331. 49 and/or provide Nvidia 334.21 Status in “nvidia-graphics-drivers-331” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Provide Nvidia 334.21 drivers for ubuntu 14.04.
