Title:
  Fast Load_Cycle_Count increase in Karmic.

Status in “pm-utils” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pm-utils

  Ubuntu release: Karmic - i686
  Computer: Dell mini 10

Following the discussion in an ubutnuforums thread,
  http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1338751, I've done some
testing and found that Load_Cycle_Count increases rapidly when the
netbook is idle and o battery, +36 in 25 min. A simple calculation
would give a rather high number of 86.4/h. I know this was supposed to
be fixed some time ago, but it's reappeared.
