Title:
  Dell Latitude E4310 does not resume after suspend

Status in “pm-utils” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pm-utils

  When trying to resume from suspend the screen continues to be black.
  But the system is back up and running as I can access the laptop through ssh.

  1)
  $ lsb_release -rd
  Description:  Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
  Release:      10.04

  2) This is related to X I believe, or a drive issue...

  3) I expected the system to get back up and so I could see content on
  the screen.

  4) The screen is black. Nothing happens when I move the mouse or
  clicks on the keys. Also, since I have a backlit keyboard, I can see
  that these keys do not light up - even when the room is dark.
