Steps:
1. Boot the system with a LiveUSB
Expected result:
* System can be boot to the desktop normally.
Actual result:
* System cannot be boot to the desktop, no display after the splash screen, and
the system
itself seems not responding, Xorg.0.log.old is empty after rebooting with
nomodeset
More information:
It works fine with adding the "nomodset" parameter into grub
12.04.3 and 14.04 dailylive works fine as well
