Bug description:
happened upon login after update.
problems with the update:
the update recommended unity-settings-deamon, but did not require it.
on reboot, login had no unity menu. the system log said
gnome-session[2281]: WARNING: Unable to find required component
'unity-settings-daemon'
I installed unity-settings-deamon from a console, rebooted and upon
login got this cupsd crash
