Title:
14.04 beta: login screen goes blank, username button disappear

Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
This bug can be easily recreated in Ubuntu 14.04 beta:

  1. Start computer
  2. Click a username and enter false password
  3. Wait a few seconds until you see the text in orange that tell you
something is wrong and that you should try again.
  4. Click "Abort" button
  5. Click on a username.

  - Now the login options, everything in the middle of the screen is all
  gone

  6. Wait about 20-30 seconds and all login options will come back,
normal users shutdown after 10-15 seconds. If the time to come back
was less than 3 seconds I would not notice this bug, but maybe it is a
security issue, that should be fixed or an issue that is fixed with
  some ugly work around.

Issues with login is not nice and can be major security issues.
