Title:
gksu ans gksudo doesn't work if sudo prompt differs from "Password: "
Status in “gksu” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Hi,
If the prompt sudo uses is not the usual "Password: " gksu and gksudo
simply stop not prompt for password then execute the desired command.
In our system we changed the Password promt to something like "Enter
Domain Password: " and this causes the above issue.
As soon I change back the promt gksu and gksudo work again.
