** Description changed: I was on the http://www.shockwave.com/gamelanding/typershark.jsp website usng the Firefox 24 supplied with Ubuntu 13.10 with my son watching the mandatory advertisement when I right clicked on the video window in the page to see which videoplayer was being used for the advertisement. The popup showed Flashplayer as the video player at about the same instant the advertisement was ending (Game will begin in 2 seconds) and the Java security box popped under the Flashplayer status box. - As we all know in OpenJDK7 r 52 the Java security box is asking that the + As we all know in OpenJDK7 r 51 the Java security box is asking that the user answer if they really want to run the Java app that is being presented. Unfortunately with the Java security box popping under the videoplayer status box the Java run/no run buttons are not accessible.. as they are behind the videoplayer status box. Attempting to move the videoplayer status box does not work. Neither does Alt-tab to try and cycle through open windows. In fact no button on the keyboard or combination of buttons does anything. The mouse continues to move around but left or right clicking on the mouse does nothing. After a period of time the Java "script timeout message" pops up and replaces the run/no run selector message. This message asks if you want to continue to wait or abort the script. Unfortunately this message too pops under the still open videoplayer status box and again the abort/continue buttons are obliterated by the videplayer status box on top. At this point the Ubuntu 13.10 pc is essentially locked up as no keys will do anything. I tried pushing the power button once briefly but it had no effect. So the only option left at this point is to hold the power button down until the pc shuts off which I did and then rebooted and returned to the screen where the problem was to generate this report as it was not possible to do that with the previously frozen screen. Can anyone fix this issue? I expected that I would be able to close the video player status window and then answer the Java security question.
