changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test
it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running
apport-collect 1207027 and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

Title:
  Can't add songs to iPod

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When I drag and drop a song to my iPod, the song seems to be added in the 
iPod library but when I disconnect the iPod, then connect it again, the song is 
not in the library anymore.
  It does not display any error in the terminal either.
