@Ritesh I already took a look at bug 1214352, and I am pretty sure this has something to do with it. But I did not quite understand what would be the fix? I applied the attached patch to the glib-2.0 source package, rebuilt and installed all resulting libglib... packages, but that did not change anything regarding this bug. What else would need a rebuild?
I will try testing with trusty, but that won't help me solve my problem.
