changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test
it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running
apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

Title:
  Closing Rhythmbox window quits even while copying files to device

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Closing the Rhythmbox window while copying files to a media player
  device causes Rhythmbox to quit if nothing is being played.

  Reproduction steps:
    1) Open new Rhythmbox session
    2) Copy files to a media player device
    3) Close Rhythmbox window

  Expected outcome: Rhythmbox remains open until file copying has
  finished.

  Observed outcome: Rhythmbox closes immediately, killing the file copy
  process.
