Bug description:
Working on the system settings battery preferences, I would like to
use gnome-settings-daemon if available (to make testing on the desktop
more useful). I can't depends on it though, that would be wrong for
the touch image, I need a way to check if the schemas is installed and
modify the behaviour according to that
