It's unclear to me how this might happen. It seems like the dbus daemon
isn't available, which causes most daemons like NetworkManager to not be
able to function properly.

If you're still seeing this issue, could you please run "dpkg -l dbus"
and report whether it lists the dbus package being installed (you would
see "ii" at the beginning of the line with the dbus package name.
