changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test

apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

  rhyhtmbox: high cpu-usage when playing music from second hard drive

Bug description:
  As described above. When I'm playing music from my second hard drive,
  which isn't auto-mounted, rhyhtmbox produces a high cpu-usage. In fact
  one of my four cpus is used completely by the process rhythmbox-
  metadata.
