Since this bug is believed to have been fixed in a recent version of the
Uniy shell, could you please report the version you have installed?

Unable to type password after screen lock

Bug description:
After the screen locks, sometimes I can't type in the password field, no
characters are showed, I have to click on any other element like the shutdown
menu then click again on the password field so it can accept typing.
This is affecting Ubuntu 14.04.
