to be a "regular" (non-security) bug.  I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to
cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.

  Just installed XUBUNTU  XMir 14.04 i386 from
  http://vanir.unit193.tk/mir/pending/

  A Terminal window appeared after login with this message:

  I understand from this message that XMir failed to run.

  My computer is a an IBM Thinkpad R31, chipset Intel 830MG, signal
  processor Intel 830MG.

  Driver in use is i915.
