Public bug reported:

My hardware is:

Motherboard
  - ASUS A8V-MX 939 VIA K8M800 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Onboard Video Chipset
  - S3 Graphics UniChrome Pro IGP
RAM
  - 1 GB
CPU
  - Athlon 64

After fresh installation I noticed the computer to be very laggy. So i
ran system monitor and CPU was running at 100%, then checked process,
compiz takes huge CPU % when even moving mouse.

It would be great if someone help fix this for me to use UBUNTU. Thanks.
