  Alt-F[1-8] switches to text console

Status in “fglrx-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

  This is probably related to Bug #463762

  Pressing Alt+F[1-8] switches me from the X server to console. Say, if
  I press Alt-F4, I am switched to tty4 AND action bound to this key
  combination (close the window) is executed.

  Every time I switch the lines like these are written to the system
  log:
