No, I haven't reported it yet.

And no, with my system in english, it still doesn't work, the shutdown
and restart buttons do anything. But now no content is added to the log
(gnome-session-Unity.log).

  gnome-session-quit does not work

Status in “gnome-session” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When I go to the session menu -> Shutdown, or run gnome-session-quit 
--power-off, the dialog that appears does nothing. If I click the shutdown or 
restart button, the dialog closes but does nothing, the PC doesn't shutdown or 
restart.
  I have this problem from Ubuntu 13.10, I updated to 14.04 and the problem 
remains.
