Ubuntu 14.04 If no online accounts are present then opening Empathy opens the System Settings at the Online Acoounts tab. After adding an account Empathy connects and works normally. If any online accounts have already been set up Empathy does not connect or recognise any of them, nor connects to any new accounts or deleted/reconnected accounts.
