I installed 14.04 and this is not an issue, ubuntu-drivers and the GUI option both work. I reverted to 13.10 to run this command. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-drivers-common in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1310568 Title: ubuntu-drivers-common fails to find any Drivers for my graphics card (jockey-text does) Status in “ubuntu-drivers-common” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Had this problem since I change motherboards recently, the system gui and the terminal fail to find drivers to use with my system. On the old motherboard this worked without issue. I did have an Asus P8Z77-V Pro to an AsRock Z77 Extreme4 (same chipset and general features) I see that jockey-common is an old package in 14.04 so I am stuck on 13.10 until I can use ubuntu-drivers-common to find my system drivers.
