Title:
[OptiPlex 780, Analog Devices AD1984A, Green Headphone Out, Front] No
automute
Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Not sure exactly which version upgrade broke the output auto-mute, as
I infrequently used the headphones for sometime. However, I do know
that originally it did work. Also, I've established the problem is
not hardware. When I connect a HDD with Windows and boot, the auto-
mute works just fine when I connect the headphones.
