Bug description:
the greeter // login screen displays hostname in a darker font colour,
it's not legible any more.
it is displayed correctly on the lock screen
(it appeared after changing the machine hostname manually by editing
/etc/hostname and /etc/hosts)
on ubuntu 14.04 trusty
lightdm version: 1.9.14-0ubuntu2
