Title:
Screen not locked when coming out of suspend/hibernate when menu icon
is clicked and showing menu options

Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When I have a menu item selected (like the gear, time, etc) in the
menu bar so that it is showing its options (like users, calendar, etc)
and the screen goes to sleep, when a user moves the mouse, the screen
wakes up, and the entire screen is visible, the user can look at any
menu items, until the first click.

After the first click, the lock screen finally appears, but at this
point, the whole screen has been visible for an indefinite amount of
  time.
