Well, I just installed for the 3rd or 4th time the package gdm, and the problem is solved?! And it was the exact same version that I had already installed!? So, now I have all de xsession/de options available! What as made me very sad is that note a single answer from anyone in launchpad regarding my issue! So I ask myself if theres is any point on reporting bugs and problems here?!

But, at the login, in GDM, even after I choose my user, the options to choose other DE, in this case Gnome Ckassic, does not appear! I've reinstalled everything that I could remember, and still nothing! The only option that shows, it's my user name, I ENTER, then put my password, and NO OPTION to choose other session/de appears! In the directory /usr/share/xsesions ut shows the available sessions, in my case: - GNOME - GNOME Clássico - GNOME Flashback (Compiz) - GNOME Flashback (Metacity) So, the packages are installed correctly! Thanks.
