Public bug reported:
My Canon PIXMA MG6150 is not recognized by sane (scanimage -L finds no
scanner).
There is a typo in line 1635 of the file backend/pixma_mp150.c. The
occurrence of MG6200 in that line must be replaced with MG6100. After
fixing that typo and rebuilding and reinstalling the package the device
works.
The bug has already been fixed upstream in sane release 1.0.24. I don't
know Ubuntu's policy on providing a fix in such case but having that
report available in launchpad with the solution above may help others to
fix it for themselves.
