Bug description:
Frequently on boot the desktop is not displayed and is just black. I
am able to switch to vt1 and run 'sudo service lightdm restart', and
sometimes the desktop appears correctly, but more often than not I
just get the black screen again. Seems like a race condition. After
recent updates the problem seems to be 100% reproducible and I am
unable to get a working desktop at all.
