Title:
[EB1501, Realtek ALC662 rev1, SPDIF Out, Internal] No sound at all

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Hi,
  I experienced the following problem:

after changing the sound volume from min to max the system stops to
  reproduce any sound.

Apparently I can play sounds with the HDMI interface using aplay only.
Pulseaudio seems to be useless at the moment. I tried to restart the
system, restart the pulseaudio, but so far no good news.
