Title: Ubuntu 12.04.4, laptop: record a sound does not work Status in “neon27” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Ubuntu 12.04.4, laptop configuration: IBM laptop T430, Language: en-us 1. Login Ubuntu 12.04.4 on laptop 2. Click on Applications >Sounds & Videos > Sound Recorder 3. Click New or go to File > New . In the Record as drop down box, choose anyone among CD Quality Losless , CD Quality Lossy, Voice Lossless, and Voice Losy. 4. Click Record to start recording. Once you have finished recording, click Stop to stop it. 5. Save this recorded file from File > Save As. 6. Open the new file saved just now. Actual results: No sound. Expected results: The sound will play. PS: I checked System/Preferences/Sound, The Sound is ON. Play other applications on the laptop, the sound shows. After reboot the machine, the problem still reproduces. Tried on 12.04.0, not reproduce the problem. Tried on 12.04.4 on Windows 8 desktop, not reproduce.
