" So to support that gtx750 card, i've installed nvidia 334.21 from joe- yasi/xorg-related ppa, and blacklisted vga16fb, nvidiafb, rivafb and rivatv inside /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file. Note that the actual Trusty archive only propose the 331 driver, so adding the 334 asap should be a good move too. Results about these tweaks: - the display is usable, but, the displayed font quality is worst than before (it was superb) ; - the lcd display is a 22" 1920x1080, but it is found as a 42" 1920x1080 by both the kernel and nvidia (nouveau was working fine with the 8500 gt). So i need to downsized now to 1680 to get the menu/topbar/buttons; otherwise they are not seen.
