I got few crash with that machine running an intel i915 with known and confirmed OpenGL bugs.
Here an output of yeseterday: http://pastebin.com/TTHjPqFF My guess now, and despite we cannot assume anything, bugs in the prom or the logical calculation may be the issue. For now, as it recovers perfectly, I will run that machine this way until I replace it by a card supporting OpenGL much better. *Any recommendations on a good and stable video card supporting OpenGL properly? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1317425 Title: compiz crash and window decorator disappear Status in “compiz” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Many times everyday, compiz crashes and some applications become fullscreen (e.g.: leafpad, vmplayer, thunderbird especially).
