Title:
ATA controller freezes with pm-powersave
Status in “pm-utils” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: pm-utils
After upgrading to Lucid distro hangs up on booting. At first it loads as
normal and hangs at the moment when it's time to start up Xorg. After
reinstalling Lucid from scratch I've discovered that ATA controller resets and
refuses to work further.
I had to disable in startup acpi scripts command pm-powersave and system
boots normally now.
