I applied the patch from http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu- branches/ubuntu/trusty/nvidia-graphics-drivers-304/trusty/revision/21 to nvidia-304 from precise, and it works for me. Would you accept a merge proposal with that change? (I guess we also need 304.117 in order to support the lts-trusty X server...) Can you please add nvidia-304{,-updates} tasks for Precise to this bug for tracking?
