It still happens with last version of Gwibber in Ubuntu 11.10 updated. If I quit Gwibber - for example right click on Unitu dock icon and "Quit" - application closes and details no more appear in messaging menu.
And sometimes, a few minutes later, suddendly in the Gwibber dock icon it shows number of updates since last reading, in messaging menu the rows "Update status", "Messages", "Answers" are displayed again, and even if Gwibber window is not launched, it seems that Gwibber-service runs and checks regularly the services we have subscribed. "Quit" should mean "stop Gwibber service until app is manually restarted". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gwibber in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/786635 Title: It looks like the quit option is not working fine with Ubuntu 11.04 Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: gwibber When I click the quit option then Gwibber is not exiting but still running To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gwibber/+bug/786635/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
