I'll look deeper into these errors myself, but the main issue is how Rhytmbox handles these errors. It generates a new error-message window for each song that it fails to copy. I was trying to copy 20,000 songs. All of these windows were layered ontop of each other and Rhythmbox generated them faster than I could close them until my system crashed. I'll try and report back when I have more info.
