Title:
wipes iPod touch of playlists and adds several playlists titled
"Podcasts" to iPod on sync.
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
when i plug in my ipod touch and launch rhythmbox any podcasts i may have
created on my iPod previously are wiped, and six playlists titled "Podcasts",
two playlists titled "New Playlist", a playlist titled "Recently Played', and a
playlist titled "Top 25 Most Played" are added to my ipod without any prompt
from me. also, it does not allow me to edit the properties (e.g. artist, album,
title) of any song on my iPod. I can edit the properties of a song in
rythmbox's music library, but not my ipod's music library. rhythmbox on the
previous version of ubuntu would not do this, and i was free to edit the
properties of any song, regardless of location. I am currently running ubuntu
11.10, and rhythmbox 2.90.1~20110908-0ubuntu1.1
Thank you for taking the time to help.
