Title:
Unable to usefully transfer files to walkman

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rhythmbox

When using Rhythmbox to transfer files to a Sony Walkman (NWZ-A728,
with firmware 1.03) using USB Mass Storage (not MTP), files created on
walkman all have ID3v2.4 tags -- these are useless to the Walkman.

Some interface to allow specification of the version of ID3 tag to
create is needed (and obviously the capability to create the correct
version) - otherwise I have to use kid3 to convert tags from id3v2.4
  to id3v2.3 (which does work).
