vdpau-va-driver installs the file in the correct location for some time
now and libva looks in the correct place. I think this issue can be
closed.

when running VLC, trying to use VAAPI, I get this error:

The result is that VLC is running, but HD-content is shown in a very
bad quality (missing frames)
