Could someone clarify here, is all the above saying that it is known that the mouse sensitivity setting does nothing and that to make it do something is a wishlist item rather than a bug? Seeing this on 11.04 and 11.10.

Whether I set it all to minimum or maximum, doesn't make teh slightest difference. I use a generic PS/2 mouse.
