Firefox fails to print to pdf file

Bug description:
Applies to Linux Mint 16 Mate edition and Linux Mint 17 Mate edition.
The pdf viewer built into the Linux Mint version of Firefox fails to print to
file correctly.
It does not print the full file resulting in blank pages when loaded into
adobe Reader or the pdf viewer that comes with Mate.
The official Firefox downloaded from Mozilla does not have this problem. So I
am using this version to download my bank statements which come in pdf format.
