Status in The OpenOffice.org Suite:
  Won't Fix
Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: openoffice.org

running Ubuntu 8.0.4.1 on Dell PC 2GHz) kernel version
  2.6.24-19-generic

Install Unison sw to enable Media Player to play midi files -
  everything works fine

Open presenter -> create blank presentation -> insert -> movie and
sound -> select the midi to be inserted

Run presenter <F5> and the sound icon is a white box. Clicking on the
  box does not help.

If I repeat the process with an MP3 file - i must right click on the
sound icon -> interaction -> play sound -> load mp3 song THIS
PROCEDURE WORKS FOR MP3 ONLY DOES NOT WORK FOR MIDI

  Can you please assist me?

  Thanks

  Steven Herbert
