This (or a similar issue to bug 1321627) was impacting the wifi network setup on mako devices for smoke test with image 123. When I tried the workaround suggested in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/urfkill/+bug/1321627/comments/17, the wifi became active and useable
