Public bug reported: Ever since upgrading to Ubuntu 14.04, simple scan no longer works.
In previous version of Ubuntu, Simple Scan worked great with my HP ScanJet 6200C, but now, each time I launch Simple-Scan it crashes before I have the opportunity to scan anything.
