  emacs hangs when i try to use it with gdb

Status in “emacs23” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: emacs23

  Steps to reproduce:

  1) start emacs
  2) M-x gdb
  3) try to debug a lib with "libtool --mode=execute gdb ~/devel/isas/src/isas" 
  (i try to use a lib called isas)
  now the gdb window opens
  4) go to the gdb window and press TAB

  now emacs hangs. it's impossible to use gdb
